Our client is proud of being one of the most successful Chambers in the country, recognised with accoladesincluding the Queens Award for Enterprise, Investors in People Gold and Matrix accreditation.The RoleThey are recruiting for a Business Adviser that will support new or existing enterprises across St Helens or the wider Liverpool City Region. The Chamber support businesses of all size and in all sectors, through their membership-based services or fundedprogrammes.The role will require you to establish good working relationships with business owners and managers and be recognised as a trusted partner in their network.You will work closely with the Business Growth Programme, New Markets 2, acting as a conduit into other support programmes that the Chamber delivers including the Enterprise Hub for New Businesses, Liverpool City Region High Growth Capital Growth Fund andthe Liverpool City Region Growth Hub. New Member recruitment will also play a key part in this role.RequirementsHaving previously run or managed their own business would be an advantage but not essential.The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels and ages. They will be a good team player but also able to work independently and on their own initiative.An understanding of the local marketplace and of national policy issues that may impact upon local enterprises and business formation is desirable. Along with experience in delivering ERDF programmes and supporting documentation.You will have good IT skills including expertise in all Microsoft Office programmes and CRM systems.A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable company, then please do not hesitate in applying with your CV and a covering letter.An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role.
