Job Description

Arborist £22,000 to £24,000 per annumFull-time, permanentMerseysideM&Y Maintenance and Construction is now recruiting an Arborist to work with our Grounds Maintenance team in Merseyside. About the roleThe purpose of this role is to assist the Arborist Supervisor carrying out all types of arboriculture services.We are searching for candidates who possess the following NPTC units:

  • CS30 - Maintenance
  • CS31 - Tree Felling
  • CS38 - Climb trees and perform aerial rescues
  • CS39 - Aerial chainsaw use Climbing skills.
You will also have the ability to work confidently at heights for extended periods of time. The ideal candidate will also be able to work within the Health and Safety at Work guidelines.You will have experience of carrying out routine machinery maintenance and have a willingness to undertake training and development activities. You will also be able to work effectively as a team member but also using your own initiative, ensuring jobs arecompleted to customer satisfaction within a timely manner.A full UK driving license and a basic DBS check is required for this role.About M&Y Maintenance and ConstructionM&Y Maintenance and Construction provides responsive repairs, planned works, renewables and new build services to clients across the North West.
