Treating our client with respect and dignity, you will help them live a rich and fulfilling life by enabling activities in the wider community such as visiting the cinema, Ski4All and inclusive swimming lessons.About YouTo be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:- To be registered with OR working towards registration with Social Care Wales- A good understanding of the physical needs of a client with physical and cognitive difficulties- The ability to follow instructions- Excellent communication skills- A full, valid driving licenceA recognised Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) is desirable, as is previous experience. Competent IT skills would also be beneficial.Please note, you must hold a recognised Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 2 or a Diploma) OR have completed the All Wales Induction Framework, or be willing to complete this within 6 months of starting if successful.The successful candidate will have some flexibility to fit in with other commitments you or the client may already have.This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS.
