R&D Tax Executive - Boutique Firm - St Albans - £30k-£45k + bonus and benefits packageRobert Walters are hiring for an R&D Tax Executive for a leading boutique R&D tax and innovation tax consultancy based near to St Albans in Hertfordshire. This is a newly-created permanent position.The company is a industry leading R&D tax credit consultancy, established as one of the top firms in the sector, who work with a range of difference companies in order to provide tax relief in the form or R&D tax credits, patent box claims, other innovation taxes and related areas such as capital allowances.Due to recent growth they are looking to hire an R&D Tax Executive to support the Tax Managers. This person will review R&D tax credit claims, will keep up to date with relevant legalisation, will interact with clients and will provide tax training and advice across the business.Responsibilities include:* Review tax claims prior to client acceptance and filing* Provide ongoing training and assistance with tax knowledge for the Account Managers is a supportive way* Provide ad hoc support to the Technical Specialists on technical and financial queries* Optimise claims where possible* Be up to date with relevant legislation and guidelines for the full product suite* Assist with the content for sales and marketing activities* Feedback monthly on technical observations with core Questions and Answers to drive continuous technical improvement in the business.* Record all activities in MS DynamicsThe company are looking to hire someone with prior experience in research and development tax credits, and ideally someone part-qualified or recently qualified.In return they can offer a salary in the region of £30k-£45k, annual bonus scheme, fantastic benefits, study support if needed, built-in progression to become a Tax Manager, and a great working environment with a good work-life balance and flexible working including the ability to work from home.Apply now to find out more and to see the full job description Required skills
