Job Description

Solution Architect - InternationalWe are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our fast-growing International Solutions division, serving commercial businesses, governments, and defence organizations. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and deliveringcomplex solutions to meet the needs of our customers, including software, hardware-accelerated data processing, data analytics, secure cloud solutions, and user interfaces aligned with mission use cases.Key responsibilities:

  • Understanding and influencing customer requirements and challenges in their core mission
  • Designing and delivering solutions using existing products and components, as well as new development or integrations
  • Creating high level and low level designs
  • Leading estimation efforts and owning the solution through delivery and transition into operation
  • Acting as the point of authority for complex engineering designs and challenges, both internally and in front of customers
  • Overseeing and assuring the implementation of your solution designs
Experience we are looking for:
  • Solution engineering experience in a high-performance environment from requirements to acceptance and test
  • Experience designing solutions where reference designs do not apply and where you need to understand how a technology works to adapt it to specific requirements
  • Experience in whole solution architecture or major components/aspects of a complex solution
  • Mission use case extraction and derivation of solution requirements
  • Interacting and presenting to internal and external stakeholders to understand, influence, and shape requirements and solution approaches
  • Data-intensive systems experience, including acquisition, processing, storage, and exploitation, with an emphasis on performance as well as functionality of data flows
  • Designing solutions suitable for engineering and deployment using modern agile and CI/CD approaches
  • Creating solutions for new opportunities
