Are you an engaging Design Technology teacher available to work in the South Essex areaAre you seeking a new and exciting opportunity working in a vibrant schoolTradewind Recruitment is currently working with a school in South Essex who are seeking a full-time Technology teacher to join their committed team as soon as possible. The successful teacher will be expected to plan and teach interactive and inspiring DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.With experienced teachers within the Technology department, this heavily over subscribed school are able to consider specialists in most disciplines. However, if your are confident in Engineering and Graphics this could be advantageous. With effective plans in place, they can also support an NQT through their induction.This is a great chance to join a dynamic and popular school and work alongside a hard-working and supportive team of staff. This position would suit a passionate, dedicated and motivational Technology teacher eager to achieve outstanding results.The successful Design Technology teacher will be:Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE and ideally have a proven track record of progression.A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the curriculum.To be successful in this DT teaching role you will:Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.Have the legal right to work in the UK.There is onsite parking available for staff and students and its easily accessible on public transport, with a train station also located nearby.
