Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation based in Southend, are currently looking to recruit a 3rd Line Infrastructure Consultant for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£350-400/day (inside of IR35). There may be remote working due to current circumstances. Responsibilities:• The Infrastructure consultant is accountable to the Digital Infrastructure Architect for the technical project deliverables that form part of the digital infrastructure transformation programme.• The post holder will be responsible for provisioning, configuration and migration of systems onto new supported platforms as part of the groups digital transformation from three locally hosted and disparate technical environments to a consolidated cloud first operating model. This role is essential to co-ordinate the numerous technical and operational inter-dependencies required to deliver a consolidated technology platform that supports modern ways of working. • The role will require the incumbent to coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the migration of users and services to a new digital environment.Requirements: • A proven history of infrastructure projects from Windows Server 2008 onwards• Mission critical application migration• Extensive SQL knowledge• Active Directory, group policy, virtualisation• Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS experience (preferably with migration and re-platforming experience inc Azure SQL).• Proven Application Packaging (SCCM and AppV is a must)• Storage and HCI experience (preferably Nutanix)• Healthcare or public sector experience is desirable.If you would like to hear more about this opportunity please get in touch.
