Job Description

Twentsix are working alongside a regional care group with homes throughout Norfolk in the search for Care Home Cooks to work on a temporary basis. We are looking for candiates with knowledge of dietary requirements, fortified diets, pureed meals and how to cater for residents with allergens. You will be catering from 20-60 residents for Breakfast, Lunch and Evening service. General working hours vary between 7am starts and 6pm finishes, There is requirement for occasional weekend shifts. Key duties include: * Catering for up to 60 residents* Preparing fortified and pureed meals* Some basic washing up* Catering for afternoon tea/Picnics* Taking food temperatures* Monitoring fridge records* Ordering* Stock rotationIn return you can expect a mimimum pay rate of at least £11ph, weekly pay, holiday pay, flexible working days, and the opportunity to explore other sectors of the catering industry.
