Job role: Quality Engineer Location: Southam, Warwickshire Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime @ enhanced rate Hours: 07.00-17.15 Monday - Thursday (4 day week!) Job Type: Full time, permanent The Client: We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading client with a dynamic team in the precision engineering sector. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the aerospace,power generation, and motorsport industries. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the success of leading-edge technologies. The package: · Salary between £40,000-£50,000 dependent on experience · 29 days holiday including bank holidays · Overtime available at an enhanced rate · Company Pension Scheme · Death in service · Life Insurance · Free on-site parking · Christmas shutdown The role: · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust quality control procedures and standards. · Conduct thorough inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. · Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective actions to address quality issues and improve product reliability. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement. · Monitor and analyse quality metrics, generate reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders. · Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related matters and ensure effective communication. The Requirements: · Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications are a plus. · Solid experience in quality engineering within the precision engineering industry, preferably in aerospace, power generation, or motorsport. · Proficient in quality control tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis. · Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and relevant customer specifications. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
