General Manager - Marina & Waterside - Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire£35,000+ 30% bonus potential + excellent benefits.Looking for a change in direction Would love to work more sociable hours in an idyllic waterside setting Experienced commercial General Manager in multifaceted customer facing operation Well please read on…We are looking for a General Manager to manage a large busy Marina and Waterside complex set in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Our client is a diverse nationwide leisure business growing fast through acquisitions and redevelopments, so it is anexciting time to be joining them.Benefits include a basic salary of £35,000 for a 37.5-hour week, 30% annual bonus, 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), 6% matched pension, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance and big discounts on moorings, gyms and much more.   • Coach, support and inspire your operational team to be the best they can be every day.
  • Strive to deliver a fantastic customer experience to your leisure customers from bookings to departures.
  • Ensure the diverse facilities and amenities are clean, safe and well maintained at all times.
  • Maximise occupancy on moorings.
  • Build sound relationships with suppliers, partners and other stake holders.
  • Typically working 9-5 Mon-Friday with the expectation of the occasional evening or weekend in peak season to support the team.
The person:
  • Genuine, warm personality with a flair for great customer service and hospitality.
  • Hands-on approach to leadership and ownership mentality.
  • Team leadership experience possibly as a Centre Manager, General Manager, Club Manager, Commercial Facilities Manager, Community Manager, Property Manager, or even Operations Manager of a big volume site ready to step up.
  • Strong operator with experience managing in a busy multi-faceted leisure, serviced property, retail or hospitality business.
  • Business acumen; able to read and act on a P&L and manage budgets.
  • Have an interest in boats or the waterside.
