Job Description

Accounts Payable AssistantPermanent, full time2 days in the officeSoutham£24,000Oak Recruitment is proud to be working with a global business with an office in Southam. This is a great opportunity to join their finance team, where you will be responsible for the accounts payable ledger.Main duties will include:

  • Run the accounts payable ledger, including logging and processing of supplier invoices, matching against POs
  • Liaise with suppliers and reconcile supplier statements
  • Liaise with other departments to manage supplier accounts
  • Attend weekly/monthly meetings updating the department
  • General accounts payable work
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT Skills
  • Have strong people skills
  • Previous experience working within Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards (preferable)
  • Knowledge of Netsuite and Esker (preferable)
  • Strong knowledge with Microsoft Excel
