Job Description

Accounts Payable AssistantPermanent35 hours per weekI am working with a company based near Southam, recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a hybrid role, which will include around 3 days in the office each week. The ideal candidate will have worked within an accounts office previously, or havea keen interest in moving into an accountancy role.Key duties will include:

  • Processing and managing the accounts payable ledger, including logging and processing of supplier invoices and matching invoices against purchase orders
  • Communicate with supplies and reconcile statements
  • Coordinate with other departments to manage supplier accounts
  • Attend weekly/monthly meeting and participate in department projects
  • Ad hoc work related to accounts payable
The ideal candidate will:
  • Be confident with numbers and have a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience of working in an accountancy team or a keen interest
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
