Job Description

Year 4 Learning Support Assistant - Primary SchoolAre you an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Learning Support Assistant who loves to work with KS2 students APPLY NOW as a fantastic Primary School in Southall is actively seeking a passionate Year 4 Learning Support Assistant to join their friendly team.The school:

  • Specialist speech and language base for children who have specific speech, language and communication needs
  • Dedicated and talented team of staff who work hard to ensure that the children learn, make good progress and are happy and safe
The role:
  • Year 4 Learning Support Assistant to support children with autism and behavioural difficulties, in a Year 4 class
  • To work with pupils with Speech and language difficulties
  • To support pupils with social emotional and mental difficulties
  • To motivate, engage and encourage children to become independent learners
  • A wonderful opportunity which could lead to a permanent role
Requirements:
  • Available to work 08:30 to 15:45, Monday to Friday
  • With strong communication skills and experience assisting pupils with Speech and Language needs
  • Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate setting
  • Preferably a Punjabi, Urdu, Somali or Farsi speaker
  • Must be AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY to work as a Year 4 Learning Support Assistant
  • Already have/willing to apply for a Child Only enhanced DBS
  • An attentive and caring individual
