NEED NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE APPLIED IN THE LAST 6 MONTHSLondon North West Hospital University Trust is one of the busiest acute organisations in the country with a full range of acute and elective activity, including tertiary referral work in Intestinal Failure and Head & Neck surgery.We are looking to appoint Critical Care Nurses to join our Critical Care Units. With 32 beds at Northwick Park Hospital , 12 beds at Ealing Hospital and an Enhanced Care unit at Central Middlesex hospital, you may work across multiple areas and also be part of a 24/7 critical care outreach team. You will be based at either Ealing hospital or Central Middlesex hospital, but may be expected to work at any of the Trusts three sites, when required. We offer excellent opportunities to gain a broad range of experience in caring for critically ill patients including;- Treatment for multi-organ failure- Complex surgical cases including E.N.T- Post-operative complex vascular surgery- Post operative complex colorectal surgery- Maxillofacial Surgery- Patients with underlying renal disease- Patients with underlying haematology/oncology disease- Patients with Infectious diseasesWe are seeking committed RNs with:• Previous experience in critical care and/or critical care outreach• An interest in widening their skills and knowledge in critical care nursing • Evidence of professional development• Registration with the NMC and able to work in the UKOur Units have a combined robust educational programme and practice development team to support staff and have the support of a committed senior management team. We are dedicated to staff development with an agreed Degree Pathway with the University of West London where support will be given to help you gain Intensive Care Nursing qualifications. There are close links with our onsite Lecturer/Practitioner, Specialist Nurses and other Critical Care units. The successful applicants will be offered a full induction into The Unit and the Trust.Both Northwick Park and Ealing Hospitals benefit from a range of onsite facilities such as a fresh fruit stall, restaurant, dry cleaners, hair dressers, Marks and Spencer and Costa Coffee outlet.Ealing and CMH both benefit from excellent transport links to Central London, excellent schools and low rental rates.The posts are offered on a full time basis, which requires flexible working patterns to meet the needs of the service including bank holidays and weekends.
