Job Description

Company:Moonlight is a leading company in large scale farming of various fruits and vegetables in Western Africa with offices and operations in UK, UAE, India and Ghana. Main products for the company are Okra, Mango, Papaya, Banana and other Asian Vegetables. The total area under irrigated farming is 3000 acres.Moonlight Group UK Ltd is into marketing and distribution of products grown in Ghana and India into UK and European markets.Company is looking at setting up the physical presence in UK and currently exports the products directly to the wholesalers from India and Ghana.The Role: To establish a physical presence for the company in London, UKTo introduce products to UK and European marketsTo manage and develop both active and potential customers within Retail and WholesaleYou will be given a range of active and development accounts, where you will find the opportunity both exciting and fulfilling. You will, manage joint business plans, sales targets, P&L and have marketing budgets.Principle Responsibilities:

  • Introducing company products into retail and wholesale
  • Planning, formulation of your account portfolio, looking at strategy in line with the company plan, sector and customer needs.
  • To identify, evaluate, record and capitalise on new business opportunities within the designated area
  • Be able to open new and profitable accounts within Retail Cash & Carry & Wholesale accounts
  • To negotiate product range, price, volume in line with company targets/guidelines
  • The Person:As well as being well organised, articulate and ambitious, candidates will require the following skills: -The confidence to manage the company presence in UK. An ability to work remotely while still working closely with the management of the company.A confident and resilient negotiator with strong presentation skills, well organised and comfortable working with data / analysis, currently working within FMCG.Must have experience in sales of fresh fruits and vegetables in UK and Europe.
