Job Description

An excellent opportunity for an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer looking for their next site based role in the food industry.OUR CLIENT.This opportunity is with a highly successful food manufacturer offering a wide range of chilled and frozen products supplied to leading retail clients.THE REFRIGERATION ENGINEER ROLEAs Refrigeration Engineer, you will ensure that services and facilities are maintained effectively to ensure business continuity and customer service levels. The role will require practical hands-on skills, computer-based documentation and record keeping,and management of external contractors. With responsibilities across multiple sites, you will be pro-active in identifying and implementing improvements to current practices with the support of the Engineering Department.

  • You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair of a wide range of factory based industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage and product chilling and freezing systems.
  • The site has established health safety and environmental policies in place and you would work closely with all stakeholders to ensure procedures are followed.
  • The role will include fault finding of electrical and control systems.
THE CANDIDATE
  • Time served Mech/Elec Engineer with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Level 2 Diploma installation & maintenance of refrigeration systems
  • Experience maintaining refrigeration systems, HVAC, compressed air & LV electrical circuits
  • Previous experience in Food Processing or an FMCG Manufacturing environment
  • F Gas certificate
  • 18th Edition Qualified
