OUR CLIENT is an established, profitable and successful London operation and part of an international group.The business has an impressive organisation with scale, drive and product excellence keynote components of its offering and business culture.THE QUALITY AUDITORAn opportunity has arisen within the business for a Quality Auditor with experience in the food manufacturing sector - ideally with bakery experience.You will be working from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 on a 3on - 3off, paired days and nights rotating shift pattern.Key aspects of the role will include:
  • You will take responsibility for food safety, hygiene and environmental standards and report and react to any Food Safety risks.
  • You will also be responsible for the internal audits (GMP, Foreign body, allergen, process, traceability, glass/hard plastic) and propose correctives actions to improve the audit scoring.
  • Internal audits: GMP, traceability, allergens, process, and proposing corrective actions.
  • Food safety, hygiene and environmental standards. Reacting to any food safety risks.
  • Logging food safety non-conformities and leading investigations and corrective actions.
  • Assessing product measurements from QC data.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will need to have a background in a Quality or Technical role from within the food industry - ideally from within the bakery sector (although this is not essential)
  • IT: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Bakery and dough knowledge would be a real advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements and quality systems.
