Job Description

Higher Level Teaching AssistantSeptember startSouthall, West LondonI have a NEW opportunity which has become available in a Primary school located in Southall. A HLTA, or Higher Level Teaching Assistant, assists teachers inside and outside the classroom. Their primary duties include preparing lesson plans, teaching classesand reporting on student progress. You would be expected to teach and cover classes unsupported so this is a role for someone whos confident and ready for a challenge.Location: Primary school based in SouthallHours: 8:15AM - 3:45 PM (Mon-Fri)September 2023EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working in a UK school.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • HLTA or teaching assistant qualifications level 3 is desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional children related references
