Athonas Health division are currently recruiting for a Band 3/4 Mental Health Support Worker in West LondonThe service is going through some changes, and the above practitioners are needed to work with a list of cases, meeting the clients (either face-to-face or via phone) to assess their mental state and establish what their current needs are, in order for the Multi-Disciplinary Team to form a plan for that client, and then for the practitioner to carry out that plan. This team sits within a larger recovery team and works with clients who are not in crisis, but who may need some support, signposting or brief intervention before their care can be transferred back to the GP or the local primary care mental health team. Knowledge and experience of working with people with mental health difficulties is therefore needed, although training and support will be given.The wider team is made up of psychiatrists, CPNs, psychologists, Social Workers, OTs and support workers. once clients are stable in mental state there is the expectation that they would have their care transferred to the Primary Care mental health team.Rates up to £15 per hour umbrellaFor more information or to apply to this position, please contact the health team on or e-mail .
