1st / 2nd line IT Technician – Middlesex * URGENT *Salary: £24,500 - £25,950 (plus excellent benefits)35 hours per week (08:00 – 16:00 with 1 hour for lunch and 15 min break mid-morning)Closing date: 7th February 2020Our client, a coeducational secondary school and 6th form have an urgent requirement for an enthusiastic and experienced IT Technician to join their existing IT team, which operate all IT systems in-house as provide first hand experience with enterprise solutions on networking, operating systems, a wide variety of software and hardware equipment.As the IT Technician, your main duties will include:• Hardware maintenance and repairs for PCs, laptops, projectors, printers and IWBs• Installing new hardware and software / Imaging computers• Troubleshooting faults• Managing helpdesk tickets & prioritising tasks• Managing stock and inventory i.e. toners & IT peripherals• User management i.e. password resetsTo be considered for this position, you will have experience or certifications in the following:• ITIL foundation• Computer Science degree• CompTIA A+• Microfocus (Novell) ZenWorks• Microsoft Windows 10 Operating system* This is a fantastic opportunity where the school will actively support your professional development with free online professional Microsoft Certified IT training and access to on-going professional development.
