Job Description

Team Leader - Asset FinanceSW London£35,000-£37,000 + bonus + benefitsWe are currently handling an excellent opportunity for the Asset Finance division of a European bank, for a Team Leader within the New Business department.The role will involve:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team who deal with new business proposals and ensure that they have the correct documentation to be processed for activation and pay-out
  • Assisting the Head of New Business with the running of the department
  • Ensuring that contracts and other documentation is correct and in line with the company’s policies
  • Building relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring that high levels of service are provided within defined timescales
  • Ensuring quality and accuracy of the team’s output
  • Checking and authorising invoices for pay-out
  • Chasing any outstanding deal document requirements
  • Suggest changes to processes to improve service
  • Preparing reports
  • Managing change process
  • Writing of work instructions and rolling out of training
  • Assisting with system enhancements
  • Managing and prioritising team’s workload
  • Carrying out team appraisals
  • Monitoring sickness and absence, and managing holiday to ensure the business has coverage as required
  • Providing training for new team members
  • Identifying development needs and addressing as necessary
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Educated to minimum GCSE level (or equivalent) with English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Experience within the Asset Finance industry
  • Supervisory experience
  • The ability to lead, motivate and develop their team
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Customer service focused
  • Able to prioritise with strong time management skills
  • Team player with the willingness to be flexible when required
