Job Description

Job Opportunity: Senior Social WorkerAbout Us: Join Richmond and Wandsworth Adult Social Services as a Senior Social Worker, where your expertise and leadership will shape our Adult Social Care Teams. Your Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate service user choice and empowerment through promoting independence and strength-based practice.
  • Assist with budget management to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Undertake statutory interventions and chair Section 42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries.
  • Provide operational and motivational leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular professional supervision for team members.
  • Manage duty team and oversee referrals and safeguarding concerns.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude towards work with a commitment to resident outcomes.
  • Ability to seek better value for money while maintaining service standards.
  • Dedication to providing the highest standards of service provision.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Ability to make rapid judgments, especially in emergencies.
  • Post-qualification experience with excellent communication, decision-making, and time management skills.
