Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an Office Manager to join a global gaming software agency in their head office in the West End. Reporting to the CEO and assisting in the smooth running of the Office; including reception, meeting rooms, offices and kitchen areas.The Office Manager is a cultural ambassador who promotes the Company value system and is driven towards providing excellent customer service and a great place to work or visit.JOB ROLE: Office & Facilities ManagerINDUSTRY: Software AgencySALARY: £40k - £42kLOCATION: West EndMAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the busy reception area and the services provided, e.g. reception, switchboard, courier, post, meeting rooms
  • Provide a warm, front of house welcome employees and external visitors.
  • Oversee all meeting rooms and room bookings.
  • Manage all facilities and service contracts for the Office, in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Responsible for building security and the out of hours, first point of call.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental and Health & Safety regulations, including Fire Safety practices.
  • Organise cultural and social events that bring office teams together on a regular basis.
  • Assist with EA duties to organise events for company investors and other client/customer groups.
  • Provide office tours when required.
  • Assist in the management of office budgets.
  • Assist with building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.
  • Provide reporting information and make written recommendations where required.
  • Visit other offices and workplaces, when required, to provide advice and support.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
  • Previous experience (at least 2 years) of working within the hospitality/ retail/ travel sector (in a supervisory/management capacity)
  • A track record of managing a range of facilities and service contracts, within budget.
  • Computer literate with range of office management skills (having a great working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite)
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
  • Genuine passion for customer service.
  • Enjoys being part of a team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative - a real self-starter
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and approach to work.
