Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated outstanding Girls school in Wimbledon, Merton. The successful candidate will work closely with our teachers to support the learning and developmentof our students.Key responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group support to students, assisting with their academic progress and well-being
  • Support the classroom teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Help to prepare and maintain resources and materials
  • Provide assistance and support to students with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Supervise and support students during independent and group work activities
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of young people
