Job Description

Role: Accounts Assistant Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Start Date: ASAPLocation: Putney SW15The Business: Loans 2 Go is the established market leader in the logbook loans sector. The product range has been expanded recently to include logbook loans, hire purchase, personal loans and we receive more than 40,000 enquiries per month.The target market is hard pressed consumers who are underserved by mainstream lenders and small business owners with cash flow challenges. Loan terms range from 12 - 36 months although early repayment is available without any penalty. Loans 2 Go is fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).The Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career further in Accounts. You will receive all the training you need to fast track yourself to success.Previous experience working in accounts roles is advantageous. You must be a target driven individual with great attention to detail and multitasking skills. This role includes working closely with other team members in the Finance Team.Responsibilities:

  • To perform accurately and promptly full bank receipts reconciliation, dealing with all queries promptly to ensure each month is closed off as soon as possible
  • Assisting with payroll preparation, where necessary
  • To ensure that all end of month close down procedures are actioned and adhered to
  • Liaising with various team members across the business to resolve queries
  • Bank reconciliations on a daily basis, including investigating any and all differences
  • Being able to accurately and frequently process fast-pays and chargebacks.
  • General administrative duties: post-inbound etc
  • Ordering stationery and other office supplies
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks
  • Nominated Accounts reconciliations
  • Attributes and experience:
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise tasks according to current business objectives
  • A good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office + other corporate software
  • Great attention to detail
  • Confident decision maker, who works well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to take ownership and problem solve
  • Previous experience in reconciliation is desired
  • Previous experience working in accountancy roles is desired
  • Basic accountancy knowledge
