Through this programme we inform and influence the work of local, regional and national government policymakers and promote inward investment and responsible business.London is already Europes leading tech hub, and the success of the ERDF-funded Better Futures Programme has led the Greater London Authority to invest in its expansion (Better Futures Plus) through the Green New Deal. This will enable West London Business and partners to support more businesses in reducing their carbon footprint and/or to succeed in scaling up delivery of their product and services that reduce negative impacts on our environment.In its pilot phase WLBs contribution to the Better Futures Plus programme will be: delivering 12 showcase carbon saving case studies within the film, creative, food production and hospitality sectors through a Green Innovation Vouchers scheme; helping produce a London wide Cleantech database/ directory for all agencies to use; and supporting the development of SkillsWest.London to create a tool that has London-wide application.Job PurposeTo project manage the successful delivery of West London Business contribution to Better Futures Plus. Main Responsibilities Maintain the Better Futures Plus project delivery plan on Asana; monthly reporting against deliverables. (5% of time) Green Innovation Vouchers (50% of time) Onboard businesses successful in securing Green Innovation Vouchers and manage the process to end. The award of vouchers will be conditional on the businesses pledging to transition to zero carbon operations by 2030. Match niche sustainability consultancies who can provide innovation support to businesses seeking to transition to a low carbon and/or circular economy business model. Oversight of Imperial Business School Sustainable Executive Leadership element of programme. Provide support for the delivery of a searchable database on London-based providers of cleantech products and services.
