Job Description

Our client is a well-established organization specialising in the contract manufacture of polymers and chemicals. With a commitment to quality and safety, they are seeking to recruit skilled individuals to join their team as Process Operators.The Process Operators duties are to manage and operate multi-purpose reactors and ancillary equipment utilized for batch chemical manufacture. The primary objective is to achieve the required production output while upholding agreed-upon standards of safety,quality, and yield.Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and executing the manufacture of batches in accordance with established written procedures.
  • Packing non-bulk powders following prescribed procedures.
  • Collaborating with Production Management and Engineering to promptly report and address any equipment breakdowns.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all paperwork associated with batch manufacture and packing.
The successful candidates will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Literacy, numeracy, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to accurately follow instructions.
  • Qualification in science, preferably chemistry (e.g., GCSE, A Level, HND, or BSc), would be advantageous.
  • Preferably, 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or a demonstrated understanding of operational requirements.
