Job Description

Tutor- Lean and Warehouse- Work from HomeLocation: RemoteI am currently recruiting for a highly established Training Provider and as a result of their growth, we are now looking for experienced Lean and Warehouse Employability Trainers on a permanent basis. The position of Lean Tutor is permanent and you will receive a salary of up to £30000, bonus, alongside 23 days+ bank holidays, Pension, Laptop, mobile phone and travel expenses. The bonus scheme is a great incentive and most Tutors are earning between £200-£600 per month in completion bonuses. The Employability Tutor will be delivering 1 and 2-week programmes and will facilitate an outstanding learning experience to learners who are engaged on an accredited Employability Lean qualification.As part of the teaching and learning, the Lean and Warehouse Tutor will be required to assist learners with all aspects of the course and deliver advice and guidance to enable learners to make informed decisions about their future goals.The Employability Tutor will be delivering the sessions both online and, in a classroom, setting.There may be an expectation for some travel, and when this applies the company pay 35 pence per mile travel expenses, hotel accommodation up to £90 per night and food allowance of £20 per nightKey Responsibilities of the Lean Tutor Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners in Lean and Warehouse Programmes. Support learners to improve their everyday Maths, English and ICT Skills Devise flexible and innovative ways to engage individual learners Draw up agreed action plans with learners, outline the aims of the programme and monitor their progress Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learners qualification and meet the needs of the qualification. Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential. Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience. Accurately report daily learner attendance and take responsibility for general health and safety, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and SafeguardingSkills and Experience Required for the Employability Tutor Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, Cert Ed Assessors Award such as A1, TAQA, CAVA however the Training Provider can put the successful candidate through the Assessors Award Functional Skills L2 in Maths and English or equivalent is desirable, however, the Training Provider can put the successful candidate through the Assessors Award Lean related subject at Level 2 or above Previous experience of delivering Distance Learning Programmes through online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom and Virtual Learning platforms Knowledge and experience of using E- Portfolios Vocational competence or experience delivering Lean and Warehouse programmes to level 2 Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality Standards It would be desirable, but not essential if the successful candidates have experience working with NEET learnersThis position is subject to a satisfactory DBS and referencesFor further information please contact Simon Atkins at Pertemps Newcastle on 0191
