There will bemultiple opportunities for international travel when the covid-19 riskdissipates. What you would be doingWe are looking for an early-careeror entry-level reporter. You would be responsible for generating news andanalysis about data protection, cybersecurity and related issues. You wouldhave a truly global beat, and be responsible for covering importantdevelopments around the world. While legal and/or journalism experience wouldbe useful, they are not necessary: well be looking for someone who can quicklyget their head around complicated issues, rather than someone who is already aspecialist. We are looking for intellectuallycurious individuals who can research, report and write daily news and features,accurately and with flair. You will be someone who pays close attention to detailand has a passion for informing others in a clear, impartial way. Relying oncourt documents, data, regulatory filings and source interviews, you will craftanalytical and timely daily news stories, in a style and tone that cuts throughjargon and spin to deliver accessible prose. Working collaboratively as part ofa tight knit team, you will also have ample opportunities to contribute tolarger research projects, surveys and features under the direction of theEditor.
