We have a large IT division here and are constantly embarking on new projects to both improve and grow our business. Right now, we require an interim Test Engineer to work alongside our development team on various projects.Your new roleWorking in a Scrum Project Delivery Team, with 3 other testers, you will be delivering a large Business Intelligence solution (data warehouse using Snowflake). You will design, document and develop test automation to support continuous integration. Working side by side with developers, deliver innovative and robust testing activities, with a keen eye for the detail and efficiency to ensuring the product works to high-quality standard.Occasional travel to Germany (expenses paid) will be required once border restrictions ease. What youll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have experience with ETL and Data Warehousing test automation (Snowflake, SQL, Kimball, ETL tools and techniques). You will have recent experience of test automation development and possess a strong understanding of several different types of test automation frameworks/tools. You will have strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills, good critical and lateral thinking skills. You will have previously tested user Interface, API services, Microstrategy (or similar BI tool), AWS, with a focus on test automation.
