Job Description

Our products have much wider potential reach - including several green applications - and as we enter our next stage of growth we are looking for a number of key hires who can lead us to Series A and beyond.We are a well-funded VC business, with global ambitions - so if you’d like to be part of something genuinely different then we’d love to hear from you.The Role:Your role will be to monitor and coach field teams in delivery of projects and continuously improve customer service in accordance with performance and health, safety, environment and quality standards. We are looking someone to be responsible for the South Central and South West region - so ideally youll be based around the M40 down to the M3 and across to Bristol/M5.Key areas of focus will include:

  • You will be responsible for the control of their designated Project or assigned tasks as well as ensuring that all documentation, services and processes are completed in line with the needs of the business
  • Ensuring compliance with all QEHS legislation and internal policies and procedures
  • Overall supervision of several sub-contracting partners carrying out Test, Rod and Rope (TRR) works on underground Telecommunication networks
  • Supervising in line with Openreach build requirements
  • Compliance with road works signing, lighting and guarding
  • Ensure all Pickr risk assessments and method statements are followed by the field partners
  • Complete Pickr Field Coach Health & Safety site inspections on every team - once per week
  • Responsible to ensure ensure that partner vehicle checks and risk assessments are completed daily
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, quality failures and service deterioration trends
  • Client requirements, safety, quality, street works, supplier performance and improvement

  • Telecoms knowledge and a clear understanding of the Openreach network
  • Supervisor or management experience
  • NRSWA Unit 2 and Unit 10, Openreach accreditation A9/SA002 (Underground Safety) and Openreach accreditation K8 (Hand rodding of the underground network)
  • Health and Safety passport scheme
  • IOSH Working/Managing safely.
