Job Description

Pay: MPS/UPS Start Date: 1 September 2021 Starting Date: September 2021 (MPS/UPS) Information for Applicants The successful candidate will be able to teach Business in Keystage 4 and 5, and PE at Key stage 3 and 4.. The school is open to employing eitheran experienced colleague or someone new entering the profession. We are looking for an inspiring and committed Business teacher whohas a passion for their subject and a clear understanding of how to raisestandards. Business as a subject is very popular at both KS4 and KS5 andcontributes well to examination performance. Within key stage three, theBusiness & Enterprise scheme is embedded into the schools calendar andenriches the curriculum experience of all. PE also remains an extremely popularsubject taught at all key stages. The successful candidate may also need to teach PE at KS3 and 4. ThePE department possesses a breadth of experience and staff show considerablecommitment to a range of extra-curricular opportunities. Borden studentscompete at district and county level in a wide range of sports: football,rugby, cricket, hockey, handball, athletics etc. The department hassuccessfully run an inclusive as well as a competitive extra-curricularprogramme and there would be a huge amount of support available for thesuccessful candidate.
