Are you an experienced and enthusiastic individual looking for a role in the Mental Health SectorWe are currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team within one of our supported living services in Wolverhampton. The service provideslong term care and support with a recovery focus for people with mental health needs within a 24 hour service. You will be responsible for providing one to one care and support such as daily living skills, health prompts, medication prompts as well as practicaland emotional support in order to promote independence and focus on re-enablement.Support Worker Duties: To support service users needs in line with their support plans and risk assessments, service specification and service contracts. To provide guidanceand information to enable our service users to make decisions about their future education, training and employment. To develop and maintain a database of all relevant partners and providers to enable to delivery of a high quality outcome focussed supportservice, enabling service users to live independently.The service is just outside of the city centre located in the Whitmore Reans area with local shops just a short walk away, accessible by public transport. There is free parking on site for staff and thereare several bus routes that pass nearby from the local area and into the city centre.Previous experience working with service users with mental health needs is essential for this role.
