Are you seeking a rewarding career, making a positive difference to the lives of othersCreative Support are currently seeking highly motivated Support Workers to work at our service based in both Hyde and Stalybridge, Tameside.We are looking for respectful,warm and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Tameside Intensive Support Service. You will provide person-centred support to service users with learning disabilities, complex behaviours and physical/sensory disabilities. You will enable them to enjoy afulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible. You will have the opportunity to support individuals with the wide range of activities that they enjoy, including going to discos, swimming andgoing to the cinema. No two days are the same! As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions.Support Worker duties include: Provision of personal careto service users and medication administration, Supporting individuals with activities they enjoy and days out in the Tameside area, Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users, Collaborating with service users, families andinvolved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service, Maximising service user outcomes by encouraging personal development and independent living skills.Although we value experience of supporting people with autism spectrum conditions forthis Support Worker role, it is not essential if you can demonstrate a can-do approach, person-centred values, energy and commitment.
