Established 15 years ago, our client an industry leader that develops and manufactures systems that integrate, software, hardware, data science and engineering to create award winning products. As a result of moving test away from the development team, they are looking to recruit a BRAND-NEW position which will play a crucial part of a newly formed test team dedicated to test! Reporting to the Head of Software engineering, you will be recruited as the first dedicated software Test engineer for a new formed and growing department. Focused on both manual and automation testing in an Agile and cloud environment, you will also be key in helping shape test strategy alongside the Head of Software engineering. This is the perfect opportunity for a software test engineer who has the confidence to suggest ideas into test strategy but wants to remain hands on and continue to progress on new technology! The Role; * Reporting to the Head of Software Engineering. * Manuel and Automation testing. * 80% hand of software testing * 20% Inputting into Test strategy and suggesting ways of working and improvements. * Agile cloud environment. * realistic opportunity to progress technically and to take on more senior responsibility.
