Job Description

Snr UX Designer, Remote (UCD)Remote/UK£70k - £72k My client, an award-winning Media Publisher has a new innovation team who are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Snr UX Designer who is expected to work with our world-class Data & Analytics, and User Research teams to help analyse design problemsand test out solutions.This role can be fully remote or 2 days a week onsite, your choice.They are a small, User Experience & Design team, with backgrounds and experience at many top digital businesses, and we need great creative people with drive, passion and a desire to innovate to come on board and help us make this happen.Youll also be working on a range of projects large to small, and experimental designs that can be tested to provide data to support decision-making. Your day-to-day interactions will be with stakeholders, Product Managers, Analytics, Engineering and theUX & Design team.ResponsibilitiesYou will:Be mindful of stakeholder needs, both user and businessCreate highly engaging and intuitive user interfacesBe able to challenge and critique briefs and UI visual designsAlways strive for a creative or innovative solution when possibleBe able to rationalise your solutions to the project teamWork directly with the development teamHave incredible attention to detailParticipate in and/or run UX workshops when neededBring stakeholders and product teams along with you as you workBe a brilliant communicator face-to-face and in presentationsAdvocate UX practice across product & development teams and with stakeholdersRequirements, qualifications and experienceYou will most likely have 5+ years industry experience, agency side or client-sideYou will have a solid background in UCDYou will have worked extensively on consumer-facing products.You will understand how to interpret user research and data to develop insights leading to working UX theories and conceptsYou know all about user experience, cognitive models, cultural modes of interaction, neurophysiology and how it affects perception, interaction principles, and why they are importantYou are able to demonstrate your approach to the UX process and articulate itYou will be used to articulating your design choices, and presenting these to othersYou will be able to develop personas based on data / research, user journeys, wireframes (scamp to high fidelity, and interactive prototypes in Axure as appropriateYou have a UX/HCI/Product or Industrial Design qualificationYou will have worked on mobile, tablet, web projectsYou will have worked closely and successfully with developersYou will have experience of working in AGILE or equivalent fast turn-around development environmentsYou will be experienced in using Sketch, Axure Pro, OmniGraffle, Photoshop and the Google apps suiteImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
