Job Description

A Senior Software Developer is required by a growing and incredibly successful technology company.This position would be ideal for someone with experience in developing, supporting, and maintaining SAP Business ByDesign solutions and enjoys providing customisations to fit customer requirements. Remote and flexible working is available.Requirements:

  • Software development experience specifically within the SAP Business ByDesign solution is essential
  • Experience in developing customisations in ByDesign with Cloud Application Studio and UI Designer
  • Competent in creating and customising reports
  • Strong understanding of the entire life-cycle from pre-sales through to delivery and post-implementation support
  • Experience in requirements analysis, documentation and solution proposals
  • Experience in proof-of-concept development and demonstrations
  • Confident in liaising and collaborating with in-house consultants and customers
  • Good reporting skills of project progress and issues
  • Able to mentor and assist other developers
    • The following experience/skills would be advantageous:
  • Cloud Application Studio, UI Designer and LiveCycle
  • ABSL scripts to implement business logic for validation, events and actions
  • Dump Analysis, Debugging and Tracing
  • Web Services and Odata Services
  • Fine-tuning, Business Roles and UI Switches
  • Development of new screens, UI components and enhancements to existing
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, including liaising with SAP
  • Understanding of core logistical and/or financial processes in business
    • Salary and Benefits:The salary is up to £65,000 p.a. depending on your level of experience and skills, plus performance related bonuses, which are typically around 10% of salary.Benefits include pension, 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays, staff discount scheme, and free on-site parking at their office in Poole should this be required.
