We are partnership with a lovely school in Lingfield who are looking to increase their team of SEN Teaching Assistants.TAs are vital to the development of students who require additional support due to physical disabilities or social, emotional and mentalhealth needs. Candidates require patience, initiative and a positive attitude, as well as a good sense of humour!As an SEN TA, you will be responsible for;Helping to implement and embed strategies to ensure that students are thriving in the learning environmentMaintainingeffective relationships with students, colleagues and teachersAssisting the student to access the curriculum through different means that suit their needsMonitoring and recording the progress of students, offering advise and directionAttending AEN (AdditionalEducational Needs) meetingsFacilitating all support and working with the Leadership team to While you do not need to be qualified for this position, previous experience within a school and experience as a Teaching Assistant (mainstream or SEN) would be advantageous.Thisis a full time, potentially permanent position for an immediate start in term time.Hours of work are: Monday-Friday: 9-4pm Term Time Teachers are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore all candidates will be subject to afull registration and an Enhanced DBS (formerly known as CRB).
