The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:Have experience working with children with SEN (Autism ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD) on 1:1 basis or in classHave training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trainedBeflexible, proactive and patient - SEN Teaching AssistantBe able to communicate effectively within a teamFull-time position, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4pmPay: £350 per week, paid on a PAYE basisThe School:A popular, productive Ealing Primary, this school aredriven by their mission to equip all pupils with the skills, attitudes and academic qualifications to enable them to go on to enjoy lives of choice and opportunity. The Role:An resilient, engaging individual is required to join the schools incredible inclusion team as an SEN Teaching Assistant to work with vulnerable pupils and in turnsupporting a variety of behavioural, emotional, social and medical needs. The school is expecting a high number of incoming pupils with Autism (ASD), Behavioural (EBD) and Speech and Language (SAL) statements. This SEN Teaching Assistant role will requireyou to provide high levels of emotional and teaching support to children who need immediate special attention having been identified by the schools SEN Manager to be at risk. As an SEN Teaching Assistant it is essential that you have prior experience ofsupporting children with complex needs particularly those with Autism (ASD), Behavioural (EBD) and Speech and Language (SAL) statements.
