Job Description

Locum Planning and Regulatory Team Leader – Midlands – Up to £70 per hour Umbrella ­­­– Remote Working – 3 months initially – Full Time (37 hours per week) or Part Time(30 hours per week) Job Title:Locum Planning and Regulatory Team LeaderLocation: Midlands Rate:Up to £70 per hour UmbrellaWorking Hours:Full Time orPart Time, Remote Working Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with aCouncil based in the Midlands in the search for an experiencedLocum Planning and Regulatory Team Leader. This post can be full-time or part -time position where you will be managing a team of 6 people whilst handling a variety of planning and regulatory matters.Duties may include:

  • Negotiating and drafting a range of legal documents including section 106 agreements
  • Undertook advocacy at planning inquiries and hearings
  • Regular attendance at planning and licensing committees as legal advisor
  • Building relationships with the Organisation’s clients and partnerships to optimise the provision of legal services
  • To provide high level/professional advice and guidance on planning and associated legal matters
  • Dealing with enforcement advice matters relating to planning law
  • Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in planning matters and legal practice areas relevant to the post
This post can be full- time (37 hours per week) or part-time, (30 hours per week) on a remote basis offering up to £70 per hour Umbrella.
