Residential Childcare Skills CoachLocation: Hybrid Working with regional travel Pertemps Work Based Learning are currently working with a recognised national training providerWe are looking for a Residential Childcare Skills Coach to work on a remote basis, with some travel required for learner observation. The Skills Coach will be delivering Levels 3, 4 & 5 to individuals achieving their apprenticeship qualifications. Salary of up to £30,000 Remote Working, with some travel required for learner observation. 24 Days + Bank Holidays Option for Flexible Working Internal Health and Wellbeing TeamKey Duties and Responsibilities of the Residential Childcare Skills Coach Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their Apprenticeship Qualification in Residential Childcare. Use and develop a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners individual needs. Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learners qualification and meet the needs of the qualification. Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential. Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience. Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress Visit and observe learners in their place of work to support and gather evidenceSkills, Experience and Qualifications for the Residential Childcare Skills Coach Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or equivalent would be desirable, alongside a recognised Assessor Qualification such as TAQA or CAVA Vocational experience, ideally at Supervisory level, within a Residential Childcare setting. Teaching Qualification is desirable, but not required (PTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent). Experience in delivering training and coaching sessions to learners Full UK Driving Licence, with access to own vehicle and a flexibility to travel.This position is being managed by Simon Atkins at Pertemps Work Based Learning.
