Our mission To be recognised as the first choice distribution partner for interiors and external envelope solutionsThe overall purpose of the role is to deliver profitable growth through the management and direction of the regional team, in addition to the creation of demand from their own customers and suppliers.Role Accountabilities

  • Takes personal responsibility for own and team safety and promotes safe working practices across the business so as to cause no harm in the workplace and keep everyone safe. Gets actively involved in near miss reporting and challenges unsafe situations.
  • Delivers and is responsible for annual revenue and profit margin targets for the region by identifying new business opportunities to increase the market share.
  • Provides strong leadership, direction and coaching to their teams to develop, influence and motivate, ensuring high levels of engagement.
  • Takes responsibility and ensures high levels of customer relationship is maintained in order to acquire and retain customers. Takes responsibility for development of "Business Plans" to realise new product opportunities.
  • Is designated as product champion of the business and is involved in the management of national accounts/ customers.
  • Utilises the range of product "specialists", central functions, and key supplier support to ensure all customers are familiar with the total Minster product offering.
  • Manages the Demand Plan for the region through the monitoring and reporting of potential projects and sales opportunities
  • Collaborates and contributes to the commercial and business strategy for Minster and Contracts Division. Partners with colleagues across the business to identify and deliver improvements to both customer and colleague experience and supports achievementof overall business goals.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Full clean driving license as travel will be required
  • Proven experience in a senior management level from a manufacturing / construction /building distribution background (Essential)
  • Advanced analytical skills using MS Office / CRM (Essential)
  • Strategic business planning experience
  • Able to demonstrate excellent relationship management and networking skills
  • Ability to identify and implement performance goals, priorities and to recommend measures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, able to constructively challenge
  • Demonstrable delivery of commercial success and good business acumen
