Creative Support is a national, fast-growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, forward thinking and innovative individual to operate as a Recovery Link Worker at our South Manchester Community Mental Health Service.We are looking for a respectful, warm and enthusiastic individual to work at our South Manchester service which provides person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs. The aim is to promote recovery and opportunity for people to thrive. We need someone who has a real interest in high-quality social care provision and is seeking to work in services that have recovery-based approaches. You will have previous knowledge of working with mental health needs. You will be part of a team and receive supervision throughout the probationary process to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed. As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and ambitions. We strive to ensure all support and risk management is bespoke to each person we provide a service for.Community Link Worker: Ensuring individuals supported across the community are offered a range of community activities and links to promote recovery and develop independence. Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users, Working with a team of community workers to promote and progress individuals with recovery and person centred approaches at the core. Operating our online system to evidence the work you undertake with people in the community Communicating and building relationships with service users family, support network and involved professionals. Ensuring individuals have a goal orientated support plan from the start of service.Although we value relevant experience of supporting people with mental health needs, you do not need to have prior experience if you can demonstrate a can-do approach, person-centred values, energy and commitment.
