Job Description

Quality & Compliance Engineer / Manager (Automotive)North Somerset - commutable from: Clevedon, Nailsea, Congresbury, Weston-Super-Mare, Winscombe, Bridgwater, Wells, Bristol, Portishead£40,000 - £47,000 + 38 Days Holiday, Pension etc.Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:30 / 12:30 on Friday) Are you a Quality & Compliance Engineer / Manager from a Manufacturing background where you will be working for a market-leading Tier 1 supplier into the Automotive industryMy client is a market-leading Tier 1 Automotive company that work with major Automotive OEMs such as, Ford, JLR, GM, Nissan etc.In this role you would be supporting the Engineering Manager where you will be working towards such standards as, IATF16949, ISO14001 / ISO 90010 and providing quality expertise to the Manufacturing & Engineering teams.You will be responsible for ensuring a culture of Continuous improvement throughout the Site and ensure that all non-conformities raised internally of by certification bodies are effectively corrected and independently verified and closed-off.This is an exciting position for a Quality & Compliance Engineer / Manager who has experience within the Automotive sector or a similar industry with a thorough knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, PPAP 8D etc.The Role:

  • Providing Quality expertise to the Manufacturing & Engineering teams
  • Investigating and resolving Product Engineering & Assembly issues
  • Internal Quality role
The Person:
  • Quality & Compliance Engineer / Manager
  • Good understanding of IATF16949, PPAP, APQP, FMEA Etc.
  • Automotive background is advantageous, however not essential
