Start Date: Summer/September 2021 Pay: Oakwood Scheme We are seeking to appoint a Physics Technician, tojoin our successful Science Department at this popular boys Grammar Schoolwith a co-educational Sixth Form. The successful applicant will be requiredtoprovide support to the teaching staff in the Physics Department, as well ashaving specific responsibility for the day to day running of the Physicslaboratories. Experience of laboratory work is essential. We arelooking for someone who has a background andqualifications inPhysics/Electronics who is a good team player and is flexible and proactive.The post is for 37 hours a week, term time only (38weeks a year) with a salary in the Oakwood Range Band 5 (pro ratad salary from£16,446 to £17,509 depending on experience).For further details and an application formtelephone or email. Wehave a co-educational Sixth Form of 280 students (usually we have 40-50 girlsin Years 12 and 13). Entry at 11 tothe school is through the Kent Test (11+)where students sit three papers in Mathematics, English and Reasoning. We have been on the site since 1959 and we share anattractive campus with two schools (St Augustine Academy and St Simon Stock)and a college ofFurther Education (Mid-Kent College).
