Senior/Principal Partner Solution ArchitectOCI Government Partner Solution Architect (PA) based in LondonApplicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages: English. Other languages a plus: Dutch, French, And German.Job DescriptionThe Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Global Government Sector (G2S) team, oversees the delivery of cloud products tailored for government customers, is seeking an experienced Partner Solution Architect( PA). The PA provides direction and deep technical knowledge in applying the OCI PaaS and IaaS cloud solutions to Public Sector Partner business opportunities. Facilitation of Partner OCI PaaS and IaaS product understanding through deep technical presentations, demonstrations and supporting technical solution architectures to some of the most challenging enterprise problems. Additionally the PA will support Field Sales, Strategic Partners and ISVs in driving customer adoption and success on the Oracle commercial regions, EMEA Government Cloud platforms, and to drive new business opportunities for governments inside the UK for Dedicated Regions Cloud@Customer and Oracle National Security Regions.As a PA, you will be responsible for providing technical / functional support to prospective partners while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for a dedicated Public Sector Partner across a wide range of technical opportunities. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle PaaS and IaaS cloud solutions to include advanced cloud service concepts, service roadmaps, strategic direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional partner relationships.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop white papers, blogs, partner reference architectures, and presentations to enable customers and 3rd parties to fully leverage Cloud IaaS and PaaS services. Create field enablement materials for the broader PA population, to help other PAs understand how to integrate OCI solutions into government customer architectures. The PA will partner closely with the Business Development teams at Partner Firms and EMEA government public sector teams, to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of OCI solutions. Participate in deep architectural IaaS/PaaS discussions with customers, partners and Oracle field personnel to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the field and internal teams. Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within government customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communications skills. Past experience writing and publishing technical white papers. BS/MS degree: Computer Science or Engineering degree with Technical background highly desired; Advanced Degree a plus. Communicate complex ideas and topics to multiple audiences. Be able to work with and communicate internally & with the customer at all levels, including engineers, end-users, partners and senior leaders. 5+ years experience designing large-scale cloud, IaaS, PaaS solutions in an enterprise environment 5+ years experience working with government Public Sector customers Within first 4 months of employment study and receive OCI Foundation or Architect Certification Cloud Security, Risk and Compliance awareness as it relates to our government customer regulatory requirements in EMEA Current global awareness of data sovereignty concerns, global privacy, regulatory frameworks and laws such as GDPR, and the U.S. Cloud Act.Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor experience with a leading EMEA partner organization. 5 years relevant PaaS and IaaS cloud services. Demonstrated proficiency in cloud solution architecture design. Through knowledge of cloud service design and network architecture. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, relationship building techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed.
