Thesecases take place outside national courts and often out of the public eye. Wealso report on the community of practitioners and arbitrators who handle thesecases, tracking their professional moves.We are looking for a News Reporter to join ourexperiencedand close-knit team. This is an exciting opportunity to developyour journalism skills within an international organisation working on a globalscale.What would you be doingWe are looking for intellectually curiousindividuals who can research and write newsand other content to a high degreeof accuracy. Relying on legal documents, regulatory filings and access to thebest sources in the field, you will craft news stories in a style and tone thatcuts through jargon and spin to deliver a satisfying read to an expertaudience.You will mainly be writing news stories to dailydeadlines but will also be expected to assist on larger research projects andother signature annual surveys, all under the direction of theeditor.You will need to be highly literate and able toabsorbcomplex legal decisions, find the news angle within them, and turn theminto readable stories at short notice. You will also need to network withprofessional contacts and cultivate sources so as to obtain reliableinformation on under-the-radar and otherwiseconfidential disputes.A background in law or professional writingexperience is preferred.
