Our client requires an SC Cleared Network Designer Engineers (Inside IR35) Remote working to join a law enforcement programme within a wider portfolio and this project aims to deliver an updated network encryption capability. The programme is delivering a software-based network encryption service, based on a software defined wide area network (SD-WAN) alongside a Wide Area Network-Network to Network Interface (LE-NNI) that will replace the existing PSNfP Gateway, Off-Shore Gateway and client Cloud Gateway. The network engineer designers support the technical delivery of the programme. Indicative experience required;- SD-WAN exposure and previous projects; desirable- Network routing design and trouble-shooting; must have- Firewall skills, able to create, implement and support complex policies; must have- Network traffic analysis - Netflow or CFlowd/SFlow; must have- Network transition, planning, documentation, support; must have- Presentation skills, present network designs and respond to challenges in front of a technical and non-technical audience; must have- Network management knowledge, SNMP, Syslog; desirable- IPSec VPN design, implementation and support, DMVPN; desirable- CCNP or equivalent; desirable- Zone based firewall experience; desirable- Working with 3rd parties and provision of solutions, documentation, configuration and change management- Current or recent SC clearance; must haveQualifications and Experience requiredDesirable:1. Working with software defined networking2. Knowledge of PSN/PSNfP/Policing & Home Office environments3. Understanding of design principles and standards and how they apply to your work
