This is a great time to join Chilmingtonas we aresoon to move into our brand new state of the art building! We are looking for a NurseryMidday Meals Supervisors to join our small but growing school. The mainresponsibility is to supervise the children during meal times to ensure theyare enjoying a nutritiouslunch in a safe and happy environment. The role alsoinvolves putting out dining tables, a cutlery set and beakers in time forthe start of the lunch period, ensuring there are sufficient settings for thenumber of pupils eating that day. The role may also requiresome cleaning inthe dining hall. To work as a lunchtime supervisor,the following skills are desirable: enjoyment of working withchildrenpatiencethe ability to staycalmgood communicationskillsthe ability to work as part of ateamLunchtime supervisors must alsobeaware of responsibilities under child protection legislation (training will beprovided) and report any safeguarding concerns to the head teacher. When fully operationalChilmington Green Primary Schoolwill have up to 60 pupils in each year group. It will also operate a nurserywhich will provide 26 full-time/52 part-time places. The building will hostspecialist provision for up to 14 primary aged pupils with Autistic SpectrumDisorder.The school has an admission number of 60 per year group with mixedyear group classes up to Year 6.
