Job Description

JOB TITLE: Maintenance TechnicianLOCATION: Swindon, WiltshireSALARY: £37,00025 days holiday, plus bank holidays | life insurance | bonusWAY OF WORKING: Full Time | PermanentTHE BUSINESS:C4S Search are proud to be partnering with a marketing leading electronical manufacturing company innovating in inertial navigation.THE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITY:

  • The primary function of the Planned Maintenance Technician is to carry out preventative maintenance at customer sites in line with service contract requirements.
  • To assist Field Service Technicians in the installation of new machines in the product range.
  • To assist Field Service Technicians in the overhaul and retrofit of existing machines in the product range.
  • To carry out chamber machine servicing and repairs as and when required.
  • To carry out scheduled maintenance in line with the agreed customer service contract.
  • To develop existing service contracts to increase revenue/spares stock/OEE/consumables.
  • To prepare reports of work undertaken for use within the company or for the customer.
  • To advise on and promote aftersales products offered by the service department.
  • To act in an advisory capacity with regard to customers spare parts holdings requirements.
  • To maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • To carry out any special tasks as reasonably requested by the Field Service Manager.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
  • Completed an apprenticeship based programme
  • ONC/HNC or similar
  • Electrically biased
  • Experience within the food industry
  • Motivated
